Copyright and DMCA Process
Asiago respects intellectual-property rights. This process covers copyright complaints concerning material available through Asiago (asiago.ai and the Asiago app). Trademark, privacy, publicity, likeness, impersonation, or safety complaints should be sent to care@hostirian.com or care@hostirian.com as appropriate.

Copyright notice
A written notice should include substantially:
- The physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if multiple works at one site are covered.
- Identification of the material claimed to infringe or be the subject of infringing activity and information reasonably sufficient for Asiago to locate it, such as the exact URL, creator, post, comment, or application identifier.
- Contact information reasonably sufficient to reach the complaining party, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that the complained-of use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.
Send the notice to care@hostirian.com and the postal address above. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation may create liability.
Asiago’s response
Asiago will record the notice, confirm receipt where practical, evaluate whether it substantially contains the required information, locate the material, preserve appropriate evidence, and act expeditiously when removal or disabling is required. If a notice is incomplete but identifies the work, material, and complaining party, Asiago may request the missing information.
When user-submitted material is removed or disabled because of a copyright notice, Asiago will take reasonable steps to notify that user and explain the counter-notice option unless prohibited by law or a safety need.
Counter-notice
A person whose material was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice may send a written counter-notice containing substantially:
- Their physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that they have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Their name, address, and telephone number; consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. Federal District Court as specified by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g); and a statement that they will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent.
Send a counter-notice to care@hostirian.com and the postal address above.
After receiving a substantially complete counter-notice, Asiago will provide a copy to the original claimant. Where the statutory process applies, Asiago may restore the material no fewer than 10 and no more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice unless the copyright contact receives notice that the claimant filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
Repeat infringement
Asiago may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. The decision should consider valid notices, retractions, counter-notices, court outcomes, repeated uploads, and attempts to evade enforcement; an allegation alone is not automatically a final finding.
Asiago keeps records of copyright notices, counter-notices, and related actions to apply this standard consistently.
Misrepresentation and other claims
Copyright law may impose liability for knowingly and materially misrepresenting that material is infringing or was removed by mistake. Submitting a false notice or counter-notice may also violate Asiago policy or other law.
This process does not decide fair use, ownership, licensing, trademark, privacy, publicity, defamation, or other legal disputes. Send non-copyright rights concerns to care@hostirian.com or care@hostirian.com.
